Bought a berry colander for myself and I love it. Just the right size for so many things I use it almost every day so I am buying one as a gift for my friend.

I love this small colander. It is just the right size to rinse berries for my morning cereal and fresh herbs for cooking and salads. I gave each daughter-in- law one as well. One got broken and I had difficulty finding a replacement. I was glad to see it featured again in your catalogue.

I love this colander. It cleans my berries - even a small amount in the easiest way. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that I sent these as gifts to several people, and there is no note or indication inside telling what it IS. Finally two of the people sheepishly thanked me and then added, "What can I use it for It has holes in it!" Apparently it had served as a fun game, as friends came and guessed. But berry colander had not been guessed.

This is a great product if you use berries, especially in small amounts, regularly. Why get out the big colander This stays on my windowsill over the sink...

Have owned one since spring and use it nearly every day. Not just for berries! Bought five or six more for Christmas gifts.

Have loved and used this product for several years. Because it is a perfect size if you are only cleaning enough berries for one or two people, you will not need to pull out a large colander. My girlfriend from Australia liked using it so much while visiting, that I bought one to send her for Christmas. It ranks in my top ten purchases for the kitchen. Looks stylish and feels good to the touch!

I was pleased to receive this, it was much bigger than I expected. It does a wonderful job in helping me to add more berries in to my diet on a daily basis. It would be nice to have a little matching saucer to match to to place under it, to catch drips, tho.

I bought them for gifts to my friends unique and useful. There needs to be a label attached to the colander explaining its use as some couldn't imagine its use.

Loved this the first time I used it, and I use it nearly every day. Have purchased many more to give as gifts. Beautiful and convenient.

Why bother with digging out a large colander for just a few berries when all you need is a single serving

Handy and easy to use. It just sits on the counter by the kitchen sink.

I did not think this would be this much use until I started to use this beautiful cup. Like I felt, how could I live without this LOL It is really useful for many small batches of food washing, such as all sorts of berries, grapes, baby carrots, cut shiitake mushrooms, and so on. I leave this on the kitchen counter around the sink all the time. It is nice looking, too. If I ever break this one, I will definitely buy a new one since I cannot live without this! I love love love this.

I bought this as a gift. It is a little bigger than I thought a good thing. About the size of a large mug. Nice quality. My friend was very happy to receive it.

A very practical and traditional looking item. I bought it as a Christmas present for my wife, who loves blueberries. Just don't store it in the cupboard with the coffee cups! The product was shipped to me promptly after ordering. This was a no-hassle transaction.

I love this little "mug" -- it seemed silly to buy it, but I use it all the time and it is perfect for just a few berries at a time. Then the rest of them don't spoil because they've been washed.

This is the second one I ordered because I gave my first one to my daughter when she was visiting from Colorado. She can walk to her backyard and pick berries from her blueberry bush. I use mine to thaw frozen blueberries with cold running water. We both love them!

I love my colander cup. I take fruit to work every day and it's so easy to wash and go with a busy schedule. Recommend that you do not keep it with the coffee mugs. Has been mistaken for a coffee mug......what a mess!

My everyday yogurt, berries, and walnut breakfast is now fast and easy. I am teased about being a "gadget queen" however I now only purchase what I know I'll use. This is wonderful. I can rise the berries even the night before and set them in the fridge, or as I'm putting the other things together in the morning. It's fast, and easy to store. I might suggest not keeping it next to your coffee mugs, as I can only imagine the surprise when the coffee is poured. I've ordered more as gifts! GREAT IDEA!

This stoneware berry colander, hand-thrown and signed by a master potter in the Appalachian foothills, has got to be one of the best inventions since the corkscrew! With all the talk about berries being one of the richest sources of antioxidants, we'd best be eating our share every day. When you'd like to rinse a few berries to eat, it's much more pleasant when you've got a handy 4 1/2''-tall colander all ready to go, sitting alongside your mugs. Read more...

It sure beats hauling out that humungous colander you got at a home party 25 years ago. (Save it for when you're making potato salad for your company picnic.) As dramatic as it sounds, now that I have one of these artful colanders, I don't know what I did without it. I use mine every day for berries, grapes, small batches of pasta, beans, etc. There's nothing like having the right tools in the kitchen, and this is one of my favorites.

Holds approx. 2 cups; because each colander is individually handcrafted, sizes and color tones will vary slightly. The small indentation on the bottom rim is intentionally there for drainage purposes.
