Ordered 2 pie shield protectors, used both the next day. Called customer service 1- protector burned into several pieces. They replaced item easy to work with. I use these every weekend. So easy to use. Love this. Will never use foil again or should say try to use foil. Had one side on tried the other and of course foil fell off. WISH I HAD THESE SOONER. WILL BE ORDERING MORE. GREAT IDEA

Very flexible, it will fit on any size pie. I use it for little pot pies and just overlap it a bunch. Easy to wash, easy to store. When I bake pot pies, I have the oven on 400 degrees. I was worried how these work in an oven that hot. They work fine and my crust was perfect.

I was thrilled to find an alternative for protecting my pie crust! I never liked using foil, and this product is a great alternative! I just put it on the pie crust, forget it and bake. No need to take it off toward the end of baking to let it brown..it's a no brainer! It's very easy to clean too!

While this product does work and protects your crusts it's not very strong. Mine tore during washing before use.

I was really looking forward to these rings! However, they didn't work! My crusts were still too dark around the edges. I guess I'll have to go back to using foil. Dang it!

This is easier than cutting and bending aluminum foil every time to make sure the crust does not burn on your pie and it fits various sizes of pies.

Much easier than trying to put foil around the rim of the pie. There was still some burning of the crust at the site of the closure, but I would definitely use again.

I baked a pie right after receiving this, and the only places it overcooked/burned Beneath the silicone pie shield! Not sure what went wrong-- think I am back to using my foil strips instead

This item has not been used yet but it looks like it will work well for its intended purpose. I read reviews complaining that it was too small for a 9" pie, but I can't see how that could be given the diameter I measured when it arrived. Hope it works -- no reason it shouldn't.

We used it to make a peach pie with gluten free crust.It worked really well. The crust around the edge was just the same as the rest of the pie crust. My husband loves to make pies and since he is gluten intolerant we were very pleased.

Seems to be good if using a standard pie pan, however if using a large quiche dish, this is too short to go all the way around. I will use for quiche, but will need to add foil to complete coverage.

I've used aluminum foil for years to protect the pie crust from getting too brown or burned, so when I saw this item I was very interested! It works perfectly. I would recommend it to everyone who bakes a lot of pies as I do.

Have only tried it once, but it didn't seem to keep the edges from browning nor have the other options I've tried worked very well for this. However it was easy to use and is a good design. Will try it again and hope it works better.

I've used this twice now since getting it during the Christmas season -- I wanted to try it before getting more for family -- once with a frozen pie and once with a homemade pie. Both came out perfectly! The crust wasn't burned, and somehow managed to cook and brown as advertised "Tan, don't burn!". An absolutely wonderful invention!! Thank you, Isabella, for once again finding a wonderful product for us.

This is a good investment if you want a perfect pie crust. My caramel apple pie with lattice top was perfect even though the filling bubbled through onto the crust. A real winner!

I am a pie baker! I have an age-old crust protector made of aluminum that is solid and round. I often bake two pies at once...this one is flexible to allow for size of pan! Very innovative,and the bright color reveals where it is hidden in my large supply of baking pans! Easily installed and removed.

Wow. I used this for my classic pumpkin pie for an annual Harvest Feast I attend; I popped it on the crust edges at the very beginning and the crust was perfect, even though the pie had to cook quite a long time. Forget the foil - so tedious - and the metal shields that have no flexibility. I found it a little short by about 1" for my 9" deep dish pie so ordered a second one. It's so reasonably priced that this is an option and both pie shields work great. They are so light they don't crush the crust. If you are a pie maker, you need these!

I've been looking for an item like this for several years. The metal topper I have is TOO big for all my pie pans. I tried balancing pieces of aluminum foil and parts of aluminum foil pie pans with mixed results and a lot of frustration. These crust covers worked superbly and cleaned up well. Thank you for this great item!

While this pie shield is definitely easier to use than the other crust protectors I have aluminum and individual silicone strips, it is not big enough for my 10" or larger pie dishes. When I tried to use it with my Emile Henry pie dish, there was a gap of about 1" which was disappointing. And I believe that dish is a 9." But on the really small pie dishes, it would work great.

Haven't used these yet, but ordered a second one after receiving the first one. It seems this item will be great. I did notice that it is about an inch short for my Emile Henry deep dish pie plate. That's why I ordered a second -- to fill the gap so I wouldn't have to use foil. Will be using these for the first time on Friday to make a pumpkin pie for an annual Harvest Feast! Thanks.
