This tea took me by surprise. After reading all the reviews. I was so looking forward to this tea. I dont know how anyone can get this tea down. It was awful. I am always looking to try new things and I have tried many unusual tasting items, and I thought I had an open pallet. I could not even get more than one sip down. I am sorry to say this because I was so looking forward to be able to share this with all my guests at the bed and breakfast. It may have some wonderful ingredients but If you cant drink it what is the point. To me this was miss represented. I do realize its my own preference but I do feel everyone should be prepared for the taste. Thank you.

I love the taste of this tea. I am on a blood thinner and didn't know if it would be ok for me. I don't drink alot of it at one time so I'm pretty sure it will be ok.

This tea is delicious, and it never fails to lighten my mood. My friend and neighbor is an herbalist, and I buy it for her as a thank you for taking care of my animals when I am out of town. She swears by it, too.

I think that this flavor is hard for me to get accustomed to. I have also had it from another company that sells it in tea bag form. I know that it is "good for you" so I keep trying to tell myself that. I think I may go back to the tea bags, as they are easier to handle. There is no way to reseal the plastic covering on this loose leaf tea.

By A Terrible Tasting Tea
I bought this tea because the ad in the catalogue said that it was good for the health as well as good-tasting. Well, it might be good for my health, but it tastes pretty foul. I'm very disappointed.

For once, a product that truly lived up to the hype. This tea is amazingly delicious. It's both calming and invigorating - no caffeine - and it feels like a treat just to drink a cup. I need to get a larger pot for brewing because even my cat wants some.

I love this tea not only for the health benefits, but for the flavor. I add a few Goji berries and it is my first and last cup of tea each day.

This is a really nice herbal tea with its own sweetness in the leaves. I add a little raw honey and lime juice and am good to go! After years of enjoying herbal tea as my morning hot beverage of choice, I discovered Kona coffee a couple of years ago and thought no herbal tea would satisfy like that morning coffee, but I was happily wrong! The brightness of mind and genuine feeling of well being I have while drinking this tea is real, because I know it's good for me.

I make this tea in a brewing coffee pot, so that I can sip periodically throughout the day. Sometimes i mix it with a few more healthy tea leaves and a little fresh lemon. I did this everyday last month when everyone around me seemed to have a cold and/or flu. Knock on wood! No cold and no flu!

This tea is a healthy addition to a wellness, no caffeine lifestyle. A scant teaspoon is all it takes and the flavor is mild and delicious.

This is a very mellow and delightful tea for an afternoon treat. It is very light in color and smooth to drink. The fact that it is supposed to be good for you too is an added bonus.

We did not like the taste of the tea. It was bitter and unpleasant. We are new to teas and perhaps we did not brew it correctly. But it did not have a pleasing taste. Rather disappointing. . . .

I don't know enough about the properties of this tea to know if it is good for everyone. I have had a few pots and like the taste. More clear information about it would be helpful. Knowing that it is more of certain elements than ginseng does not mean that it is good for anyone to drink.

Not sure if I'll live longer and/or better quality of life but this is a high quality tea and fun to try new things. I like that you can eat the leftover bits from the bottom of your cup and that it's organic. Tip, remember to drink before it sits too long, follow the directions. Also, if you like the taste of Stevia there's a good chance you will enjoy the tea, as it's naturally sweet.

Nice taste. I drink around 3 cups a day and my husband around 2. He takes it to work in the afternoon because it seems to help him to be alert as if he were taking tea or coffee and without the caffeine. I have no idea how many hours it will add to my life.

I think this tea is just delicious - what a bonus that it has health-boosting benefits. After finally admitting that I was addicted to coffee and acknowledging the adverse symptoms it was causing, I quit cold turkey. This tea got me through the withdrawal and kept me going during some very stressful times in my life. I won't say I never get sick anymore but I certainly feel a difference. I add just a tiny bit of local honey when allergies flare up and I'm off to work awake and ready to face the day, which starts at 5am in my house.

I think this must be an aquired taste. I'm sticking to it to be sure. I tried steeping less and the taste seems better.

I was a little skeptical about this tea but as I was ordering some other items I decided to give it a try. It is wonderful! I find I have a lot more energy and have an overall feeling of wellness and vitality since I started drinking it. I do admit that the first time I tasted it I did not like the taste, I made it a little weaker the next time and within a couple of days I was really getting a taste for it. I like it both hot and cold and make a small pot of it every day and drink it throughout the day. This really is a special tea and I highly recommend it.

The tea is very pleasant tasting. Nice light flavor. From the reviews in the catalog, I expected it to be wonderful. It wasn't for me. I alternate drinking it with other teas I like also . . . I don't find myself "looking for it." It is disappointing.

I absolutely love this drink! I did research before buying this, and found that not only is it all the wonderful things Isabella claims, it's more! And this company has the best and highest quality of this plant. I'm now drinking a quart a day, and loving it. It tastes wonderful, and I really see a difference in my energy and health. My husband has even started drinking it too!

I've tried this tea several different ways like just using a little bit -- a half teaspoon to a teaspoon -- to use this tea and both ways gives me a headache. I've also put a little bit of honey in the tea but that doesn't help either. I've also rinsed the tea leaves and then started the process to use the tea but still get headaches. I won't be ordering this again. Sorry.

The owner of a healing center introduced me to this ancient drink. When she told me of its healing properties and how it was flying off her shelves, I would have drunk it even if it tasted like swamp grass. But lo and behold, it's actually one of the best-tasting herbal teas I've ever had. It's no wonder it was awarded First Prize last year by the Thailand Ministry of Health for overall taste and sweetness. Read more...

Since the 16th century, Jiaogulan has been referred to in Chinese medical texts as the "Herb of Immortality." Today, this potent antioxidant is commonly used for a variety of ailments in the hospitals of China, Japan, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Malaysia and Thailand. Its list of benefits is as dizzying as the amount of scientific research behind it.

In the latter half of the 20th century, a nationwide census in China led officials to inspect a mountainous area with the largest percentage of centenarian inhabitants. After inquiries into the lifestyle of people living over 100 years, the officials discovered one common element -- a regular intake of an infusion made from Jiaogulan. Japanese researchers discovered that the chemical components (saponins) that make ginseng effective are also in Jiaogulan. But while the most popular ginseng has 28 saponins, Jiaogulan has 82! Studies on ginseng, however, warn against high doses by children, pregnant women and people with high blood pressure. These issues do not exist with Jiaogulan because of its adaptogenic effects.

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to experience this taste sensation handed down for generations.
