This is the best self tanning lotion EVER! I have tried other lotions, and none of them smell or tan better. So worth the price!

Once again, after such good reviews and high hopes, this turned me orange. I didn't mind the scent, and there definitely is one, but the product failed to give me the results. I am a brunette with green eyes and do not tan easily. I exfoliated and followed the directions to the letter orange. To be fair, every tanning product that I have ever used has turned me orange. This product did the same thing, and it's a little pricey. I returned the product.

I've only used it about twice a week and I haven't noticed much difference. Will keep using it.

I am pleased with this self tanner as it applies easily and has a rather pleasant smell. I am happy with the color. It does not streak. It does cause some discoloration on clothes but not easily. I will purchase it again.

This product is outstanding. It smells good and it creates subtle color. I work outdoors and use oodles of sunscreen but no makeup, so I end up looking too pale. I feel completely safe using this on my face because it is natural and I have always appreciated Lavera products. I can use just enough to have some color but not look like a product of a tanning booth, which I would never use. I heartily recommend it.

Had high hopes for this, but sadly it turned my skin orange. Reminding of the artificial tanners of the 1960's my sister would use that turned everyone orangeDon't quite know what to say, really like the organic concept, maybe it looks better on slightly tanned skin

This is my "before summer" go light enough and doesn't streak, so just gives the right pop of color.

Love that the ingredients are so much safer for my skin. Amazing how tanned I look after one application.

Not a bad self-tanner. I had nice coverage after the first application. The lingering scent was not as bad as most. It felt very smooth and moisturizing unlike many self-tanners. Just always remember that if you don't exfoliate and use a little moisturizer on elbows, ankles, knees and such these areas can turn a bit darker. This was actually quite nice on my face. Try the Benecos foundation in caramel over your "faux" tan for a great summer look!

Am so pleased with results. I can see myself using this again and again. I am very wary of such products as I have so many allergic reactions but not to Lavera.

This is my second tube of this self tanning lotion and all I can say is it really does it's job. It really is great even when you have a natural tan because it fills in all those 'not tan' spots and blends in those "sunspots." Otherwise it just gives you a nice glow.

This product is fabulous! No orange, no streaks, nice aroma. I will not settle for anything else - definitely a repeat customer.

I love this self-tanner! No smell like others I have tried. Smooth, even, natural looking tan results. I will use this product year after year!

I do like the ease of applying this lotion. It does, though, give off an odor after awhile but isn't as unpleasant as other self-tanning products I've used.

As self tanners go, this is the best I've found. You won't get a dark tan from it by any means, even with four coats. At first, you'll get a very very light color. With several coats over a few days time, you can get a bit more color but not much. The product has a wonderful smell, tropical but not beachy or heavy. The weight of the cream is also good. Not greasy at all, absorbs well, and doesn't feel like your skin is "coated" like with some others. Slightly disappointed that it doesn't get darker but still worth having if you want some color. Great for the face where I don't really want too much color.

I LOVE this stuff! The description said that it didn't have that heavy, nasty, acrid smell so I thought I would give it a try. It smells great! I am a very fair skinned sixty three year old and whenever I get some sun I NEVER turn orange! Lavera didn't turn me orange either! Yeah! The sun tanning lotion smooths out my complexion, gives me a pinkish glow, and went on very smoothly. I globbed it on my arms, throwing caution to the wind, and my "tan" turned out very even and natural looking. I have told all my friends about Lavera. I would recommend it to anybody.

So far I have only given it a try, but the effect seems good - a slight tanning effect that doesn't startle people into asking where I've been. I hope that repeated use will take me into summer looking appropriate. As a bonus, the smell is very pleasant. I might give a higher rating when I've given it a longer trial.

I have very sensitive skin, and the dozens of self-tanners I'd tried over the years all made my legs itchy. Not this one! The color starts out lighter and builds up depending on how frequently you apply it. I do have to take care around the knees and feet. I'm fair skinned, and use it twice a week. A great product!

I'm not completely disappointed with this product...the color is good, but it takes quite a while to dry and has that "self-tanner" smell. With nick-names like Snow White and Ghosty, I've tried MANY self-tanners!!! Usually, my main complaint, aside from that interesting orange color, is the overwhelming smell they leave behind. This one isn't quite as bad, but it's definitely there. Otherwise, this is a good product!!

The info about the odor was correct, but the product turned my skin an ugly orange color.

I was disappointed that it had an odor like all the other products of it's kind because it said that it did not. It has a nice color but I don't like that I have to deal with the odor . . .

A very gentle self-tanner. Non-staining and easy to use. It takes several applications to show results. Fragrance is pleasant and my skin feels moisturized. Not an instant "fix" but does what I need it to do.

I've tried a lot of self-tanners over the years, and this is the absolute best! I have very sensitive skin, and the others made me itch and break out, but I've had no problems with the Lavera. You still need to take care over the knees and ankles to keep the tan even, and it works best if you apply a couple of times each week.

This is the best product, the only self-tanner that does not turn my skin orange. I'm a red head with "age" spots on my legs. Other tanners always turn them super orange. Lavera does not! I am a happy "non tanner"!

I was really excited when I found the Lavera Self Tanning Lotion because I have used their products in the past and was very pleased with them. This product however is a big disappointment. I bought it to use just on my legs. The lotion has a a terrible odor which even though it was just on my legs I felt like I had used it under my nose. I applied a very small amount to each leg. Instead of a nice light brown color my legs looked slightly orange. Not the color you want you legs to look when wearing shorts.

Great product! Mild, pleasant smell and produces a natural tanned color. My skin is olive toned, and this works really well for me. The tan is not really dark, but I use it every 2 or 3 days and feel very good about the results. I also love knowing it's from Lavera, so I know it is safe.

I would have had it made in Elizabethan times. When other folks were using everything under the sun to make their skin as pale as possible, I wouldn't have had to lift a finger. You see, when Mother Nature was doling out melanin, I must have been standing in another line. And while I do believe that fair skin truly is beautiful, psychologically, I associate a summer tan with the carefree summers of my youth - carefree and careless, as I was oblivious to the dangers of UV rays as well as my own predisposition to skin cancer. Read more...

Needless to say, sun tanning is out for me. But because I do love that just-returned-from-Hawaii look, I've been trying self-tanners since I was 12 - with no luck. Either they leave streaks or they smell to high heaven, or they're full of toxic chemicals (not to mention, making you look jaundiced instead of sun-kissed). But then Lavera came up with this extraordinary self-tanner. How they managed to pull this off with natural and non-toxic ingredients and without streaking or that horrible self-tanner smell is beyond me, but Lavera has always been ahead of its time when it comes to pure and effective skincare. It is with great pleasure we offer you this product that just won a Special Natural Cosmetics Award in Germany. At only $1.00 per full-body tan, it's a bargain over those $20- to $80-a-pop sunless tan sessions at a salon.
