This is an excellent seasoning for everything! After I tried it the first time for vegetables and chicken, my whole family was hooked on the smokey herb flavor. We love it! I even use it in my quiche and shepherd's pie. Ordering multiple tins since it gets used so quickly, I always plan to have a spare in my spice rack.

As they say "Everything" Rub, they're not kidding. You can use this rub for fish, chicken, turkey, shrimp . . . The only complaint is the salt. It's a little heavy on the salt but that can be brushed away considering the flavors and enhancers. I've even used this on cod and the fish was amazing.

The minute you open the tin you realize this is going to be the best rub you ever had. It's like a painting or piece of music where the eye, the ears are stirred by perfection. Every ingredient is in perfect arrangement and harmony to the others the nose knows! My favorite use of the rub is on steak. First I slather the meat with olive oil, then laden it fairly heavily with the rub, pressing it into the oil - both sides - and cook it in my George Foreman grill. The olive oil eliminates the need to "grease" the grill, and the combination of oil and rub enhances the flavor and moistens the steak. Have also flavored various dishes with the rub, but its full enjoyment, for me, reaches its peak on grilled meats.

This rub is fantastic on grilled salmon. I use a grill pan and the skin is crispy and delicious. I'm not usually a fan of "smoky" flavors but this tastes great. I highly recommend it and have turned others onto it.

I put this in a lot of stuff and it's just as good as everyone is raving about. I do worry that msg yeast extract might be the secret ingredient. Sometimes "spices" is used to hide that fact but maybe not. I think it also could be that there is a distinct smokey flavor to this. Whatever the case it's GOOD.

We first received this as a gift 3 years ago and have used 5 cans to date. There is no better way to prepare fresh salmon than to liberally coat with this rub and olive oil before grilling over a smoky charcoal fire.

This is an extra great spice for seasoning beef, pork, chicken. Haven't tried it on fish yet but will. The flavors surprise guests at meals. Doesn't take much to really hit all the flavors I love!

I bought this for my husband who is not only a chef-level cook but he's also picky about these types of spice mixes. He tried this rub on ribs this past weekend and he says it's the best rub he's ever tried, hands down. His nephew came over and said the ribs were the best he's ever eaten in his life!
