My amazing and very thoughtful Aunt ordered Book 1 and Book 2 as a gift to me because she found comfort within them while she had to go through her chemo a few years ago. Since I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and have already had a double mastectomy and now I am about to start my chemo next Monday-She thought of me. I've been looking for books like this and to my wonderful, super surprise received them in the mail today!!! Beyond Thankful for Her and her kindness.

Quite a few of the designs in this book volume 1 have a hand-drawn look which I didn't care for. Loved volume 2 though! Very geometric and beautiful designs.

I LOVE this! I get up early in the morning sometimes just to color it. It is very calming and meditative. I have had a few startling revelations already, and I just started! I purchased one for my sister, because I enjoy it so much!

This was a gift to a good friend who doesn't need material gifts. I added a nice set of colored pencils and she was delighted with the 65th birthday gift.

Hard to decide who to give these to as a gift since it will require taking time to color some of the intricate designs. Love the books though and am anxious to give one to my Psychic instructor who I have been with for over 5 years.

I havent used this yet, but my 15-year-old grandson picked it up at my house, colored a few mandalas, drew one of his own, and seemed to genuinely enjoy the process. I would never have guessed that a non-electronic item would provide him with entertainment!

Coloring Mandalas is a wonderful tool for help clearing the mind. Spending just 15 to 20 minutes a day coloring a mandala when I get home from work helps clear my mind and helps me decompress from the stresses of work. I recommend this product.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! We provide ongoing advocacy for crime victims and already this book has proved invaluable. We will be ordering the other two books as well. Thank you kindly from the Sexual Assault Program of NSLC

I love this book and will be getting the other two volumes at some point. I am using it as part of my mental health therapy and sharing my pages with my therapist. It is helping to open me up after creating a very small life for myself after severe grief, loss, depression and anxiety. It's a wonderful calming path to retrain my panic processes and who can resist buying a fresh new box of crayons! The introduction information presented in various cultures was very interesting.

I have other mandala drawings from you that I like very much. I don't care for this one. It is not crisply printed and it is too large in print. I like the more detailed mandalas that came in the kit with pencils. I would not buy this book again.

I've been working on coloring the Mandalas almost every night. I find the descriptions of the cycles of life insightful. To select the colors of my own choosing and knowing there is no right or wrong allows me to be imaginative. I've shared some of the completed pages with my family and find explaining my choice of colors to be fun.

I don't like the drawings in this first edition as much as the drawings in her second book. They are a little more elementary than edition #2. There are still several great mandalas to color.

My first order was Fincher's Coloring Mandalas 1. The meditative coloring helped me through a tough time.

I purchased the Mandala coloring books for myself and am now ordering for a friend Doctor who was recently diagnosed with beginning breast cancer. I know she will love the book along with the sage smudge-sticks. Wonderful. -- LP

I colored one of these mandalas one night, right before I fell asleep. I wasn't being serious about it at all -- just having fun. What a surprise to encounter the mandala in my dreams that night! Read more...

The circular shape was like a doorway, an opening into a wall. Beyond that wall I could see a child, and most importantly, I could feel a searing anguish of loss and pain. I woke up and realized that it was a level of pain I had never allowed myself to feel about my mother dying. The mandala seemed to cut a hole in the wall of resistance, and let me feel it! I thought I was just playing, and, instead, I received a very powerful healing gift. Needless to say, I got hooked on these remarkable coloring books.

The sacred art of mandala-making is found in all cultures and traditions, and is a universal human experience of unity and wholeness. Coloring a mandala focuses the attention and nourishes the psyche and senses. Such an activity is deeply relaxing and fulfilling, not to mention healing, as with my experience. Fincher's first volume introduces the twelve stages of psychological growth we all experience in life, and the book's 48 mandalas lead us through those stages. This wonderful volume offers hours of nourishment and fun, and the chance to find your own remarkable experiences of healing and spiritual renewal.
