Enjoy blooming flowers in the middle of winter with this convenient kit that includes all the materials and instructions you need. Paperwhites take 4-6 weeks to grow and bloom for about 2-3 weeks. Includes three bulbs. A percentage of proceeds is donated to the Pollinator Partnership for ecosystem protection.

Before being started, store bulb in a cool, dark place.
GROWING GUIDE:

1. Remove all contents from vase.
2. Rinse grow medium to clean off dust, then pour it into vase.
3. Add 1⁄2 cup water.
4. Remove bulbs from burlap sack and place on top of grow medium with tips up. Anchor bulbs in vase by arranging grow medium around them. Water level should be well below bulbs — if bulbs sit directly in water they will rot.
5. Place vase in cool spot and away from light (50°-60°F is ideal).
6. Once roots are established and grip grow medium, move vase to a sunny window. (This will take around two weeks.) Tip: add 2 tsp of vodka to control growth and encourage blooms.
• If roots haven’t started growing in 10-12 days, place vase in fridge until they do. (This may take up to 5 days.)
• Monitor water level. Top off as needed but do not exceed 1” from the base of the vase.
• Discard bulbs after blooming is finished.

Watch it grow up...and down...even see the roots!

I got this for my 90 year old Mom for the holidays this year, 2020. She has loved watching it grow from the start. The directions are simple and it gives her something to look forward to each day. I thought this a bit pricey compared to other similar plants. But, the clear vase was a different way to enjoy this flowering plant & no other company I found offered this option. It was definitely worth the price. Knowing a family business produces the potted Paper Whites makes me feel I am giving back in a win-win way too. I try to buy from Isabella and always love to linger over their catalog with a cup of tea. There is always something there that catches my eye. Thanks, Isabella, for shortening, the long winter days inside, for an elderly women that has a good case of cabin fever. Her joy is priceless! Your help is so appreciated.
