US Art Hall of Fame inductee, Kevin Daniel's rendition of a male and female cardinal, is captured beautifully in this stained glass suncatcher. Each piece is hand-painted on cathedral glass using the one-color-at-a-time method and techniques that date back to the middle ages. The color is fired into the glass at temperatures above 1000 degrees so your artwork will never fade. Each suncatcher is 6.5" in diameter and comes with a chain for hanging.
Size: 6.5" diam.
Materials: Cathedral glass
The Stained glass may be cleaned with any mild cleaning solution that does not contain any abrasives or acid. Use a soft cloth to dry and polish the surface.
Safe for indoor or outdoor use. Any irregularities in your work of art are inherent in the nature of fine stained glass. Streaking, bubbling, and striations are characteristics of the hand-rolling process used by glassmakers in the middle ages. After the enamels are applied tot eh glass, they are kiln-fired to become one with the glass. Because the colors are part of the glass, your stained glass will not fade or discolor.
