While many skin care products may claim to remove age spots, they just plain don't. I should know because I've been searching years now to find one that would remove mine. I'm the perfect tester, thanks to years of unprotected sunbathing in my youth, which left me with identical age spots on both hands. I can't tell you how many products I've rubbed into my left hand over the years, comparing it with my right hand. I finally found a product that works. And there's not a single harmful ingredient in it. (It's ironic that age spots are harmless, yet the products people use to remove them are anything but! Hydroquinone, for instance, has been banned from other countries, yet it's still going strong here in the U.S.)

Lotus Moon's Natural Skin Brightening Complex combines the clarifying, antiseptic, and skin brightening properties of kojic and azelaic acids in this extremely effective, highly concentrated product that has transformed my left hand. Although I have fair skin, it is particularly useful for darker skinned individuals who may have acne dark spots or melasma and who may be sensitive to other skin lightening ingredients. Within three months of daily use, you should see a significant change in any hyperpigmentation (including age spots). You must use sun protection over this product if you're going outside; otherwise, you will experience no results at all. Also, you will need to continue using the serum daily in order to maintain your results. One last word to the wise is that although azelaic acid is non-toxic and is well tolerated by most individuals, those with very sensitive skin or who have eczema may find it irritating.

Please note: When you first start using Lotus Moon products, your skin may shed, or peel a bit. This is not a reaction to Lotus Moon. It may indicate that you've previously been using products with mineral based oils, which cake the skin. Lotus Moon Ingredients act like a poultice, drawing the toxins and petroleum out of your skin's epidermis. It's kind of like a skin ''de-tox.'' This process can take a week or so, until your skin restores its natural balance.

We ship all orders from our warehouse in Spring Valley, California on the next business day (Monday through Friday) from when you placed your order. Depending upon your location, your order should arrive within 3 to 14 days.

We ship by both UPS and the U.S. postal service. We select whichever method provides the most efficient delivery of the items you've ordered. If you prefer one method over the other, please let us know. We need to have a physical street address for UPS. UPS 2nd Day Air - Add $11.95 to standard shipping (Continental U.S.). We need a physical street address. This guarantees you will get your order within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends) after we ship it.

UPS One Day Air - Add $21.95 to standard shipping (Continental USA only). We need a physical street address. This guarantees you will get your order one business day after we ship it (excluding weekends).

Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories - We normally ship all HI and AK orders by U.S. Mail Parcel Post (normal delivery time is 2-4 weeks). Add $7.95 to regular shipping for PRIORITY MAIL; after your order is shipped, you can expect it within 3-10 mailing days. Add $15.00 to regular shipping for UPS 2ND DAY AIR; please allow 3-4 business days from the time your order is shipped. (We need a street address.) No UPS to APO/FPO addresses.

Canadian Shipping:
We ship all Canadian orders by air. Payment must be in U.S. funds. The order recipient will be responsible for any duty/custom charges when the package arrives in Canada. Air mail rates: Add 15% of your subtotal, with a $7.95 minimum charge.

International Shipping:

We hope to offer you international ordering online soon. In the meantime, you may call 619-670-5200, fax 619-670-5203, or email us at customerservice@chinaberry.net with your order to find out what your shipping charge would be. If you are having your order shipped internationally, UPS requires that you include a phone number for them to contact for delivery information.

We ship international orders (except Canadian) via Air Express only. While this ensures your order will arrive very quickly (within one week), it is also very expensive. (Shipping generally begins at about $65.00 for a one pound package and goes up with weight.)

As an affordable alternative, many of our international customers have their orders shipped to a friend or relative in the U.S who will forward the orders on to them.

Sales Tax

We collect sales tax based on the "ship to" address of your order. We are required to collect sales tax in California, which is where we are located. If you're shipping to California, please include tax as follows:

Calculate 8.75% of the total of your merchandise.

We don't collect tax on gift certificates.

Sales Tax Exemption

We are required by law to collect sales tax on any orders going to California. If you are a tax-exempt organization, we need to have a copy of the Exemption Certificate issued to you by the State of California on file before you can order tax-free. You may either mail or fax (619-670-5203) us a copy of your certificate. We ask that you place your orders by mail, fax (619-670-5203) or phone. If you are ordering by phone, please call our customer service line, 1-888-481-6744, between 6am and 6pm Pacific time.

Return Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 4 months for a refund of the item price or an exchange for another item. For items returned after 4 months, we will give you a Chinaberry credit for the purchase price. On the back of your invoice, we provide you with a return form to complete. Please include it with your returned item(s). If an item is defective or if the order was filled incorrectly, we will send you a prepaid return label. If you have lost your return form, click here to print one out. We will do our best to handle the transaction quickly and in accordance with your wishes.
