WATCH 'HOW TO PLAY' VIDEO
Considering that laughter does everything from lower your blood pressure to boost your immune system, this game probably belongs in our Health & Well-Being section! I've played it with girlfriends, people who hardly know each other, and married couples, and it has been a major hit with all. Everyone loves that the game takes about a minute to learn and, because it's neither a trivia nor strategy game, you don't have to be a Yale graduate to play (although my Yalie friend has a blast with it!). What people love the most about it is that it's more a game about connecting with others and having a good time than who wins or loses.
On the board, there are ten ''Noun Cards,'' like ''Mother-in-Law,'' ''Used Car Salesman,'' and ''Polygamy.'' An ''Adjective Card'' is turned over. Let's say ''Disturbing'' is the adjective. Using ''Voting Cards,'' each player privately votes for the noun he/she feels best conveys the concept of ''Disturbing.'' After everyone reveals their answers, the majority answer is deemed the ''correct'' one, and all players who chose it move their piece forward one space. Whoever reaches ''The Greatest Mind'' space first wins. It's the kind of game that gets everybody thinking, sharing, and laughing. With 100 adjectives and 300 nouns, you will never tire of this game! For 3 to 8 players. (12+ yrs.)
