This is, hands down, the best hummingbird feeder I have ever owned. It isn't the prettiest, but to the hummingbirds it is a work of art. My theory is that the birds love it so much because they can actually perch (i.e., stop flying) when they feed. And who doesn't want to take a little rest when eating?

The maker of this feeder spent years experimenting and field testing feeders until he got this one just right. It is designed to prevent other birds, bees, and wasps from drinking the nectar. The high impact styrene base eliminates rust and has perch bars all around it so that the hummers can rest while drinking.

You need to hang the feeder out of the sun and wind, about 6-7 feet high, and be willing to clean and change the nectar at least twice a week to prevent the nectar from fermenting. In my case, once I hung this feeder, the birds loved it so much that I was filling it up every 2 days anyway, so the twice a week cleaning/refilling wasn't an issue.

Mine hangs outside my kitchen window and I just love sitting there with my coffee each morning watching the birds. As soon as one leaves, another takes its place. When I take it down to refill it, birds hover where it hangs, actually waiting for me to bring it back! Amazing!

This set comes with the red feeder base, a glass feeder bottle that holds 8 oz., a cleaning brush, and 14 ounces of nectar powder, which will make 56 oz. of liquid. Depending upon your location, your order should arrive within 3-7 business days via Standard UPS. If shipping via US Parcel Post, please allow 2-3 weeks.

We ship by both UPS and the U.S. postal service. We select whichever method provides the most efficient delivery of the items you've ordered. If you prefer one method over the other, please let us know. We need to have a physical street address for UPS. Sales Tax

We collect sales tax based on the "ship to" address of your order. We are required to collect sales tax in California, which is where we are located. If you're shipping to California, please include tax as follows:

Calculate 8.0% of the total of your merchandise.

We don't collect tax on gift certificates.

Sales Tax Exemption

We are required by law to collect sales tax on any orders going to California. If you are a tax-exempt organization, we need to have a copy of the Exemption Certificate issued to you by the State of California on file before you can order tax-free. Return Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 4 months for a refund of the item price or an exchange for another item. For items returned after 4 months, we will give you a Chinaberry credit for the purchase price. On the back of your invoice, we provide you with a return form to complete. Please include it with your returned item(s). If an item is defective or if the order was filled incorrectly, we will send you a prepaid return label. If you have lost your return form, click here to print one out. We will do our best to handle the transaction quickly and in accordance with your wishes.
